Some people love this one, some people hate it. It's not that fun the first time either.Ĭontroversial. It's short, but the post game is substituted with a new game + system, and you're intended to play through it a minimum of 3 times to do everything. The formula is completely different, and not in a good way. I personally think this is the worst one in the series, and do not recommend. Some people like this one, some people don't.

Also play Blue version, as it has the FolderBack chip, which breaks the ever loving shit out of the game. The secret dungeon has a beautiful, unique tileset, and it's overflowing with optional bosses, some of which are brutal. The scenario structure and plot flow are almost beat for beat identical to the second game, but just done better. In my opinion this is the best game on the GBA. But as far as gameplay/level design/scenarios they nailed it. Specifically the QOL stuff is still lacking. There are only a few gripes I have with this one. Their second go at this formula, and they very nearly perfected it. I'd recommend playing it just a bit to see how it all began, and to see how the ideas there, if not the execution, but everything is done better in later games. It feels more like a beta than an actual finished product.

Balancing is all over the place, the flow is bizarre, and the internet is hideous.

#MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK 7 GBA ROM SERIES#
Good to see how the series began, but this game feels incomplete to say the least. I just replayed the series earlier this year, so these opinions are still pretty fresh: 3>2>6>1>5>4
